Locust are fucking awesome...
i remember seeing them at a hardcore show out in Long Island, back in like 98. it was so great to see all those hc/emo kids totally lost when they started playing, hehee...
i still have their 5" split release with Jenny Piccolo...
kind of amazed no has responded. locust are pretty old school and totally sick...

Yeah, I'm really surprised nobody else has replied. Figured they would be really popular around these parts....
I wanna see them so bad. That would definitely be the best live show ever.

That's more like it!
What about favorite albums? I'm not sure if I can pick one... I guess Plague Soundscapes would probably be my at the top of my list. I love Flight Of The Wounded Locust too...

It's got to be plague soundscapes for me...
Anything these guys touch is gold. have you heard Swing Kids before? It's a little more straight up hardcore but there was an awesome Joy Division cover at one point.

The Locust are fucking amazing, one of the few bands around that can honestly be described as being truly experimental and innovative, while still being really tight and coherent and musical. I mean who the fuck sounds like that? Fucking nobody, not on this planet anyway. Legends.
