Does it have to be breakcore stuff?

my fave artists: Porcupine Tree, 65daysofstatic, The Mars Volta, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, A Silver Mt. Zion, Rush, SlipKnot, Bass Communion (basically anything by Steven Wilson).

dont really have a favourite label.

Yay! A Sliver Mt. Zion! One of the best things I've ever seen live. I'm a bit of a post rock fan myself. Give This Will Destroy You a listen if you haven't already, they are one of the best out there.

Eustachian are mental! I missed them last time they played but I'm definitely gonna have to keep an eye out for them.

Enduser, Bong-Ra, Drumcorps, Doormouse, Wisp (I think this one is more kind of IDM, innit?)

I'm just getting started into the breakcore sound, so I didn't hear much artists yet.

VSnares, Aphex Twin, Casino Versus Japan, Autechre, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Sigur Rós, God is an Astronaut

I need more breakcore artists to listen to. I do listen to live DJs on interbutts radio and such.

Is this the same Ripley that did the Ich Bin Defekt mix on Death$ucker? Because if it is I shake your hand! It's because of you I discovered DJ C and for that I am eternally grateful.

Uh, norcal sounds?

Eustachian are awesome live.
A cat called The Stapler is someone to watch out for.. not sure if he's released anything yet
Kush Arora has some good tracks, especially with Juakali.
DJ Megabitch and DJ amandroid are great fun
LowTech are new to the NOrcal (from the SoCal) and they rock live as well
Aneurysm is doing some pretty great interesting stuff these days
