i always thought about that since i came on here, some members would actaully be here thinking it was dedicated to hating it.

plus 80's pop is farrrrrrrrrrrr better than pop nowadays.makes me sick near every radio station here in UK is popopopopopopop.

i think of the 3 you mentioned, only psytrance deserves the bad press..how the hell can every song have practically the same bassline?it saddens me that the local outdoor party scene where i live is all psy, it just seems kinda boring and samey, both the music and the people involved in the scene

DUGGADUGGADUGGADUGGADUGGADUGGA
DUGGADUGGAWOBBLEWOBBLEDUGGADUGGA

that could be the next number one in the psy scene and we all just dont know it yet...oh wait, its the same as every other track that came before it..

power metal and 80s music have a place...psy doesnt..simple as that

You're skating on thin ice there buddy...

*loves hair metal*

Anyway if ever there was music to hate on it's definitely sigh-trance, with (dis)honourable mentions going to all trance in general, hardstep, dubstep, EBM, synthpop and clownstep. *gags*

i dont think i've ever heard psytrance.. sounds erm interesting. one thing i don't get is dubstep. I just. Don't. Get it. It's really popular round here too.

gotta love hair metal though. and most metal stuff .. except maybe doom + black metal. blah.

one genre i miss is powerpop. doesn't seem to be any of that around anymore :(

Hair metal is gayer than me, and that's saying something.

I have mixed feelings about dubstep. I don't mind the occasional listen but I can't understand why anyone would want to go to a club or a party for it. It gets tedious quite quickly. There are some artists I like though because they bring something different and don't just stick in a heavy bassline then forget about the rest: Skream because he's more dub than step, Burial because he makes such a sparse and empty sound and boxcutter because he's more IDM than dubstep.

I've never liked the indie/punk/alternative genres. all are too whiny or trying to hard to be "different", but jokes on them, cause they sound basically the same
