I think the song is by a group called Archie Bell and the Drells if you are trying to find the original tune to sample. Anyone see it in any of the breakpacks floating around on this site?

TR-Amen ("Trace break") sounds pretty fierce on its own.
Amen is the easiest to edit cause it's basically naturally quantized.
Noob out.

amen is def the most powerful break...as for who is the worlds best drummer : who gives a fuck? most drummers are macho knobheadz!

I believe the tramen is actually a mixture of the tighten-up and the amen.
re: example of usability (tighten up and the amen, but not a tramen, lol)... check out my tune Dumpster Dyve.

there used to be this site a while back called bourbon breaks that basically had all the most widely used funk breaks in dnb... that site is gone, but I just found a site where someone kept the list alive.

I know it should probbaly go in the breaks forum, but since we're on the subject of "what break is the best" and whatnot, thought I'd share.
