There was a bot that posted 40 messages, and seeing as there is no way in this forums admin panel to remove all posts from a user(it's shit) i removed the user. Thus it appears that the topics vanished. (you mean from last 100post right?) They are still there.

read a book and in 'create account' you should build something in, like a question that bots can't answer (strange letters, that generate or so )

Yeah there are things for that, but this forum software we are running is no longer really supported its a very dated version of php-nuke, we need to upgrade or convert to a newer version of the admin panel in the back (phpmyadmin2) and the cms on the front(php-nuke) (JM suggested i look into drupal wich is much more secure and has good possibilities with like implementing soundcloud and shit in the site)

It will be a very big task for what i am investigating all the posibilities to do, it will be pretty hard to do, and could potentionally fuck up the forum beyond repair.

So i am looking for someone who can do it for me, i need to get in contact with people who do these type of conversion.

But he hasn't returned my mails for some reason.

But anyway, the forum can survive in this version for a while, it just means i have to delete bots posts in a stupid way, or delete them piece by piece which takes a lot of time, but i am okay with that for now. Seeing as i need to learn every possibility so we can make this site have the best future.

But if anybody has any suggestions or experience with phpbb typed forum please do tell, hahah.

Yeah this site is due for an update, but the basic sort of design doesn't really have to change(at least for me anyway) but the functions must be really annoying you pep.

Thanks man, yes i really wanna keep up with the theme also, sadly this theme is also not supported with an upgrade of the board, but fuck it, we'll find a way. And even if we dont upgrade ill be even glad if i can talk too like minded people as we do now.
