I had umpteen witty remarks lined up for that entirely unpredictable response, but i've gone for the childish "modify the original post" option.
I know

tl;dr you're both whiny cunts that know nothing about music or its history, your opinions are not facts and are laughable at best.
rofl irl
i'm not whining really, i just want change.
i just want an evaluation!
people use the amen as training wheels, some mutha fuckas just don't grow up.
that's why i stopped playing guitar (because i fucking sucked) because i found out you could make music on a pc, the possibilities are endless and niggas wanna use the same break.
haha that's the main reason i stopped listening to Rob Gee back in the day, because the lame nigga kept on using the same gabber kick.
variation <3
change people, lets make it happen!
lets make history!!!!

Rob Gee isn't a nigger, and you could pretty much apply the same kick rule to every Hardcore producer everywhere, and use the amen argument against every Jungle producer ever. The fact is that some samples and techniques fit some genres really well, they define them, and the Amen is a very versatile break, particularly in that you can pitch shift it around and it provides some great end results, which is why next to every Breakcore artist EVER has used these pitch bending techniques and snare rushes with the Amen more so than with any other break.
Snares to Aphex to Empire to Shitmat, and every bedroom producer that came after them. To restrict your complaining to this forum is pretty unfair, as I highly doubt that the tiny minority of Amen haters on here bother posting on the Wrong Music forum or the Warp record forum about how shit the big names are for using an Amen here and there. Does Venetian Snares need to grow up (well yes, because he's an obnoxious whingy prick). Do I:Gor, Ebola, Hrvatski, LFO Demon, Squarepusher, Eraserhead, Drumcorps................all need to grow the fuck up too and stop spoiling Breakcore for you? Why not let them know how you feel seeing as it clearly prevents you from sleeping at night (to the extent that Amen complaining dominates every post you make and every youtube video you upload, Snafu). Let's avoid the double standards ladies and gentlemen.
With regards to Breakcore, the same general themes crop up every time; Amens, Funky Drummers, Apaches, Gabber kicks, heavy metal guitars etc. If Breakcore is going to truly evolve then it's going to have to unload way more than just an Amen break. Some people just love a tried and tested formula. When I go to illegal raves in the middle of the splendid British Countryside, it's dominated by people dancing to the same old drum and bass and jungle that has been exhausted for nie on 20 years; some folk sometimes just like a familiar technique. If I started shouting that drum and bass is all the same, nobody would give a shit and i'd probably get a pounding.
Rob Gee is shit because not only does he only use one kick, but because he's a terrible producer in general when compared to his peers (particularly the Dutch, the French, the English and the Scotts, who were putting out Hardcore that had way better production value).
I'm getting pretty fed up of posting here to be honest because instead of having a laugh, all we seem to get is hostility directed at every new person who links us to their tunes. Ok some of it might genuinly be god awful, but encouragment is better than flaming, bullying noobs because they've used an amen and a Gabber kick is lame, OF COURSE they've used an Amen and a Gabber kick, everyone fucking starts there. I've just downloaded Divtech's new release on Sociopath, it's full of Amens and Gabber kicks but I REALLY fucking like it, to the extent that i'm going to start a new topic about it now. Dead baby and rape jokes are all fine and dandy, but some of the more recent sentiments are genuinly spiteful, and to be honest it fucking sucks.

i agree wholeheartedly
everyones got their style, their definitive niche in the genre but the only reason any of these niches were filled was because someone stepped outta the box and did something a bit different
