Train ears

Postby PEPCORE » Wed Feb 25, 2009 2:23 pm

Found something pretty cool.

http://www.trainear.com/
Watch the tutorial below.

I think this is pretty usefull, especially for people like me, who have a midi keyboard, but can't play for shit.

The program has a lot of options, and you can do it online, so i think it will be helpfull for me personally.

When i have some freetime i'm gonna fuck around with it, tell me what you guys think.

yeah its not bad, personally i think numbering or coloring your keys in groups and then just practicing with that would be more efficient, but then again it matters what type of samples you got loaded to each key, if theyre breaks without a decipherable pitch this might not be the way to go but if theyre some type of synth or bas hit than it would

Mm, pizza. Actually i've learned new way to learn how make music. I've dowloaded foobar. There's really nice way of showing music- spectograph(?) It's actually really helpful if you like to learn things by seeing them. You see beats, you see metrum, even pitch etc. It's really nice way for me

this tool is awesome as fuck, but it's no match for pizza. also the thought of breakcore producers learning music theory is pretty funny.
