you dont have to agree with me, thats the whole point of a forum. i started the topic to hear what other people have to say about the whole thing, not to preach my ideals. im not trying to say anyone's music is shitty, i was just trying to make my point for the sake of argument. i realize that becoming who you want to become musically is a process. i make a lot of shitty music myself, which is what drives me to make my stuff better. i listen to a lot of people's music on this forum and learn from it, including yours.

HF has a very valid point, but i gave up that shit up a long time ago though, there is always somebody harder/better, i just now like to follow my own little flow, not trying to be hard or anything.

theres nothing wrong with that. i feel the same way with saxophone. once i got to music school and heard the level of players here, i stopped trying to be john coltrane and just played for the sake of playing. im not saying that everyone should create breakcore for the purpose of being the best there ever was. the point of the forum was to look at the breakcore that people think is "the best" and try to figure out why.
