Guitars, anyone?
Guitars are awesome. Versatility? I say fuckyes.

These are mine. The acoustic is a Washburn EA18, and is made of Ash which has a lovely tone, bear that in mind if you're thinking about buying one. And of course the one on the right is a Fender Stratocaster, which has rail pickups so you get the best compromise between humbuckers and single coils.
You can also see my bed sheets. They're so breakcore it's unreal.

I love guitars but I'm a struggling player to say the least. I've got a tasty Californian Handmade Telecaster though which I picked up brand new off some druggie who came into my shop for £140. Easily worth four times that but then again, I aint complaining! I prefer bass guitars myself though given the choice.

I've got a dead cheap Yamaha Bass, bog standard 4 string electric like. I've also got an Electric guitar which I got second hand off my mate, don't even know what brand or model it is actually, but it's fucking wank.
There's the bass, nice and blue.

Aye I use my acoustic to figure out chord progs and melodies, then I synth the hell out of them.
I bought it from some nice Iraqis.
I much prefer this one though:
I can't wait to get out of the Army, back on weed, and have my electric and my FX processor back at my disposal.

I love the fact that loads of people on here love guitars, but i bet you itd be a different story if this was a guitar forum & peolpe posted a thread about how they love mc 909s n 303s etc..............
A sweeping generalisation i know but thats what i reckon.

I was about to ask "what's with the big gun?" but then I remembered you said you were in the army. Would kinda make sense. Out of interest, how do the rest of your colleagues feel about breakcore?

Y'know, it's funny that I didn't really think about the rifle being in the pic, because it's always around. Terrible, really.
My team doesn't really get into much of any electronic music as much as I do, actually. I don't count my roommate's shitty hip-hop (as opposed to the good hip-hop that I bump) or occasional housey trancey techno-ish whatever the hell it is he listens to. Still, if it sounds crazy he'll ask me if I made it. Usually I have to say "I wish."
Basically, I get a lot of "How in hell can you think with that music on?" Manic drums tend to put people on edge.
As far as the word 'breakcore' goes, though, I don't think they'd know what it means. Hell, I'm not even sure I do.
The guys are pretty used to the fact that if I'm not doing anything job related I'm probably in my little corner of the world at my computer with my headphones on, doing that weird shit I do with soundwaves, grids, graphs and piano rolls.
Sucks for them though, because when my ears get tired for the night, I never feel like dragging the guitar out to the porch. They kind of think I'm a snob because I'm more knowledgeable and experienced than they are, as far as playing music goes, but honestly I'm just obsessed with my art, and I get tired.

I am trying to learn how to play guitar at some point, because i absolutely ADORE the guitar sound. but luckily for me, i have a number of friends who know how to play guitar pretty well. mwahahha i played bass in high school though. i have small hands though so that was kind of difficult.
