ehhh.. a sequencer, some samples and some plugins mate
what do you mean, there's nothing particularly special about it from what i can hear on his myspace player. it's very idm-y .. no kinda melody or arrangement, just beats and beeps and squonks.

Xanopticon produces some of the most techy stuff I've ever heard. Aside from Venetian Snares, it doesn't come much tighter.

it's nowhere near as intricate and detailed as dev/null's stuff. go listen to lazer thrash and be dumbfounded.
i'm convinced that ryan is a decedent of einstein...
inho, he's probably one of the best producers out there...
listen to his set from schizophrenia II. that shit is fucking bananas...
i've talked to him time n time again about his production techniques and he said that up until a couple of years ago all he really used was reason, which surprised me, cause i've never really like using reason too much...

i dont wanna dis xanopticon too much but seriously...
it's well made, but, all his shit sounds the same! i listened to the three tracks on "the silver key" - it's like one big track split into thirds - totally indistinguishable. and that schizophrenia set, I downloaded that and skipped through it... identical all the way through.
wtf is (1/4) (7/3) ... lol ?
idm isn't a derogatory term dude.

2. Spitfire Lynch http://www.mediafire.com/?6zdtidem5jbhttp://www.mediafire.com/?71ngjm1oty3
3. Datachi http://rapidshare.com/files/29147017/Datachi_-_Shock_Diamonds_-_2006.www.gabber.od.ua.rar
someone can tell me ?? i just need ideas suggestions. i have allready a couple of months trying to figure out what makes them different but i cant find what it is. i need help on this . im going to put the links to download the music so maybe anyone can help me to find out what it is.
i know that maybe is just clicks and cuts . glitchy sounds . but how they work talking about drum signatures. they programming the drums really out of time . they use loopz but is really hard to notice them . how they do that?

use lots of notes. write in 1/64th notes or even higher and fill in all the notes. mess with timestreching to get real grainy sounds.

yeah? cool, thanks. I'll check it out. Not that I think that large-number-of-detailed-drum-edits = good music .. or anything, but will take a listen
