Oh I'm still here. Have been for awhile now.

If I can find that video, I will definately hook you guys up. Having problems with my host right now, so once that is wrapped up, the shitmat tutorial will be back online and rolling.

if I can find that Dj Producer vid, it's on like donkey kong.

yes thats true . i think this tutorial is for kids. . his music is good. but .. it is not a good tutorial . well for beginners it is good. i used to do the same. so maybe thats the reason i didnt like it. cut and paste.. boring........

think think think ... work whit trackers.. thats the best way. and use your imagination ...

What are you doing that is so much better or interesting? I checked tracks from both of you and I DO like them, so don't take this the wrong way.

My opinion of shitmat is kinda hit or miss. Some of it's cool, others are just kinda, ehhh.

You are right and wrong here. Yes, renoise is a very small and easy to acquire program and giving out your files is really very kind but it is only really of help to people whole know their way around trackers. Otherwise it is just a load of meaningless numbers scrolling on a screen, hence why a video explaining things is better.

I don't rate Shitmat, especially live. A lot of the time he seems to rely on the humour aspect to drive his tracks and disguise the lack of decent production. He has done some great tracks though. The video is helpful regardless of this, as it is always useful to see other people's style. One of the main tenets of breakcore is individuality and doing things your own way and if you don't like another person's method, I don't think you should knock it.

Also, why does it matter that Shitmat was paid for doing the video? Of course he was! He's not exactly rolling in money!

I kind of liked the end result btw, but the fast forwarding all the time was fucking annoying, if there was some more video editing it would be a lot nicer IMHO
