seems like to me that producing the "fastest, most extreme" electronic track ever would be pretty easy. Just dial the tempo WAY up, use lots of gabber kicks, sample some nasty guitars and noise and moaning/groaning/screaming, and get to it.

the whole idea of extreme music being a competition is funny enough when death metal bands using live players do it, but to do it with programmed electronic music is funnier still.

I know some stuff in the more frantic styles of electronic music is a bit hard to listen to sometimes.....but why in the hell would you want to make your music just to say you have the most extreme/hard track ever and have it sound like I put a microphone to close to a speaker. You're really just throwing drum beats and grindcore vocal samples into your DAW in a way that makes it look as if they were laying on top of each other. They end up sounding like a garbled mess, akin to an elementary school marching band.
