As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't get any better than mr. Mark N, though I'm sure I don't need to tell a board full of Aussies that. ;)

Hmm... maybe not. I might have been thinking of that other breakcore board. I've been snorting too much breakcore lately, memory's starting to go. lol

I got a few faves.

Babu

Q-bert...observe that he's making all those mutated juggled drum beats with ONE TURNTABLE AND A CROSSFADER

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKD0dJvaPOU

more q-bert. there's a whole series of these vids with equally silly backgrounds/costumes.

Jazzy Jeff, imo the best party hip hop dj on the planet, and a great turntablist to boot. he's not as much of a technician as the other two I mention in this post, but I highly suggest that anybody wanting to see a dj kill a dancefloor beyond anything they ever thought possible check him out.

I've seen Q-bert live and it was a hellva show. There are quite a few great scratch/hip hop/anything dj's from around here. Faust and Shortee are a bad as team/married couple from here. Shortee is probably the 1# female scratch dj and her husband faust is friends and in crews with Z-trip, Radar, Crazee and many others.

Check videos of crazee he has the record for most DMC wins. Also check out the crazy antics of Beck's old dj swamp which involved him breaking records and cutting himself with the shards on stage... also won the DMC. Klever is another native from here that won a DMC. Finally check some Z-trip and radar and the whole bomb shelter crew, they are known for party rocking and live mashups.

better than people who just play other people's records one after the after, do nothing with them and act as though they were the ones who created the records!! i fucking HATE those types of 'DJs' !!!
