4 building up the breaks I use a couple of homemade ensembles in Reaktor and some Max/Msp samplers and slicers, also Renoise.Ableton for arrangements, mastering in Cubase.

That's exactly what I want to do (but I'm crap so I can't)!

The Buzz website looks like it's going through a redesign at the mo so it isn't going to be much help, but you can still download the program: http://www.buzzmachines.com/
The wikipedia page has links to the buzz wiki and the manual as well so check that out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeskola_Buzz

Good luck with it, I never managed to get my head round the thing! Looks like it would be great if you put the effort in though.

mainly Reson 1.0
sometimes in combination with Magix Music Maker
downloaded Renoise as well, but haven't made a track with it.

I've also got MED Sound Studio.

I have Reason 4.0, Ableton Live 6.0, Sound Forge, and Renoise.

So far I really only use Reason 4.0. I'm working on figuring out Ableton Live, but it really doesn't seem like it suits me yet because it only seems to be able to record, and not edit/write in. I started messing with Renoise not to long ago. Looks like it can do some cool stuff.

I use renoise for instant ideas.Inside it,vst's like Surge,SHortcircuit 1 (free) ,Asynth and Taurus (free),and Zebra 2.I render the tracks and continue in Live. That's the setup i've come to use after endless fiddling with tons of vsti.
