Your best dj/live experience
What is your best dj/live experience you ever had ?
Dj: for me it was in Brugges, BE. Began my set on a empty floor then ten min later the floor was packed ! Lots of hot girls crowdsurfing and dudes freaking out. Dont under estimate the power of the core lol
and for Live: with my band Orange Hill was in the town next to mine, never had a brutal mosh that hard. more then twenty people got out with injuries. For a death metal band thats quite good
so what was yours amigos ?
cheers

The only big show i'v ever played was a all nighter in Toronto, Brought out by DJ RobotPilot. <3 Got to follow 0=0 and opened for shitmat, and me being from a little city with absolutely no bcore scene. Shitmat brought out a 24 of beer for us to drink, the cases broke and bottles smashed all over the floor. the look, on his fucking face. so good. That party was amazing, and the whole trip was one of the best experiences of my short life.

Got a good reception once at the Frontline in Ghent, Belgium was high on life that night, had lots of complements after the show from the punters etc, lots of punk rockers giving me the positive for my punk mashups. Also had good gigs with helluva reception in Nottingham at Lobotomy and also in Manchester.
Best gig I ever went to? Hmmm, Gang of Four earlier this year was pretty wicked, aside from that the Night Marchers a couple of years ago blew my cock off, and Noizetek in Nov 07 with Bryan Fury, I:gor, Producer and some others was wicked, best Hardcore/Breakcore night i've ever been to.

i've been lucky to have a lot of nice concert experiences...
playing with the Peronists (Cumbia from Argentina) in Amsterdam was great.
getting busted by 9 undercover cops in an illegal club (a former bakery run by the same guy who ran the bakery) in Vilnius, Lithuania was very exciting even though I only played for 2 minutes. uniformed officers poured in and soon outnumbered the small crowd. the club owner got me smashed on vodka all night and wouldn't give me any beer..as it apparently promotes estrogen and would have transformed me into a woman.
i had a guy offer me his daughters hand in marriage after a set in Kaunas, Lithuania.
playing in a kitchen in Edmonton, Canada with crowd surfers and sweat dripping off the walls. cops showed of course but the show didn't stop. later we set up a PA under an old steal bridge, which was also busted by the cops. 2 shows in 4 hours busted. although both shows got busted right as we finished.
playing to a crowd at a house in Lethbridge, Alberta Canada to a bunch of kids on K for the first time was pretty hilarious. They all dropped like stones the second the music ended.
i just played Ottawa in Canada on Canada Day to a lot of French seperatists. Great night, 4 hour BBQ and all night dance party. Sweat dripping off the walls and ceiling by the end. An ice cold beer only stayed cold for about 2 minutes.
getting paid way too much money to play at the school of electro-acoustic music in a town in Denmark to a class of like 12 students and then getting wasted on the roof of the building overlooking where a permenant mist machine to make an everlasting rainbow over city hall was being built.
too many gigs where i'm still drunk at the airport or trainstation the next day. arriving in the next town with not much of a memory of how i got there.
too many good times.
