Howdy.

Postby Zwaken » Tue Sep 28, 2010 8:00 pm

Hello, I'm new here... Been listening to breakcore for a while now (probably the only damn American that does) and have recently trying my own hand at it. Still nubish at making it, but I'm hoping to get somewhere. It's fun :D

Once I make a few decent tracks, I'll post 'em.

If anyone has some basic things about making breakcore or anything about this forum I should know, tell me.

I was just assuming that because of the "hello" and "hi" threads that it wasn't uncommon for people to introduce them in this manner. No need to piss on me.

no prob, people are harsh to others because this 3-post system for downloading samples and plugins fills the site with uninteresting content. Check the tutorials, there is always smthin u can find useful. Just to make u feel less special, the owner of this website is American and many of the artists and posters as well :D

First off, I'd like to say that I enjoyed your release on Sociopath Recordings. It's cool to see artists I know posting here :)

And with the American thing - I go to a very typical high school where most of the kids either listen to top-hits radio stations and screamo. The only people I know that listen to Breakcore (or any good electronic for that matter) are myself and the people I've introduced to it.

Oh, and I whipped up something real quick tonight. I'm still trying to get the feel for Fruity Loops, so you guys probably won't like it too much.

Oh, and don't look at my other tracks... Some of them are older and I'm ashamed of them lol

where you from dude? I'm Jersey/NYC. i could agree that BKor isn't too huge here, then again, good electronic music in america is not something you come across in radio or anything. unless you've found some college radio station that actually plays good shit. Hip hop nowadays sucks. sucks sucks sucks
The hiphopclubshit is ruining my day as we speak.
Damn, i haven't been in high school for 15 years or so... and back then, i only knew a few people that listened to Hardcore tec-NOOOOOO outside of the parties we played.. we also felt like the only ones, but we weren't... neither are you.

keep hope alive..

I'm from Michigan, about an hour away from Detroit.

Nope, no decent radio stations I'm aware of. But my music library keeps me good company :D A lot of my free time is spent to downloading / organizing music, mostly IDM, Breakcore and Speedcore.

And I couldn't agree with you more on the hip-hop / rap issue. It's pure fucking trash and it all sounds the same.

How come Matt Bleak and all those Aussie lot are always going on about him as if he lives right on their doorstep?
Maybe everyone has closer internet friends than me, boo hoo.
