Turning things in to midi controllers
At least I think I want a midi controller. Honestly I have no idea how I would go about this software wise, but basically it is my dream to control a live show with a NES Advantage. Does anyone know how hard it would be to do that? I know the first step would be converting the wire to USB, but after what would I need to do?
Sorry if I sound like an uniformed asshole, but I am.

i realise this thread is old, but you may still be looking for answers?
yes its possible to use a game controller as a midi controller, my mate did it a few years ago. you have to download a program called midi yoke, and my mate wrote some script using max4live (i think) but yeah it worked perfectly.
a quick google search reveals loads of promising-sounding results, i suggest you do some reading. good luck!
