I was a linux junkie and there is actually a problem that software developers don't provide their products for linux platform... No VST's, no Cubase, Ableton or whatever shit... But since I am bedroom producer and I don't think breakcore will become some kind popular in our shitty 3rd world country I think I will switch back to linux and experiment with trackers and ZynSubFX synth... On Mac/Win I use Ableton and shit load of VST's(I really like NI products and especially REAKTOR shit)nearly for everything.

renoise is really really cheap. and the demo is just like the full version except you can't render to wav.

i've posted something i put together here using the reaktor 5 patch i wrote about an hour ago: http://www.ihatebreakcore.com/modules.php?name=UserTracks&op=viewtrack&tid=350

it starts off as shitty ambient-ish/glitch/techno, gets heavier/faster/noisier/more "breakcore" etc towards the end, is a 30 minute set.
it's all constructed live on the spot, hence the somewhat abrubt change in loops/effects/whatever throughout.

nice I'm giving it a listen now. I wish I had more computer time to sit around here and listen to tracks, but hopefully soon I'll be able to do that.

I don't like FL, I really don't like FL... Live + some cool tracker is the shit. However nobody cares where did you produce your music, when they are listening to your tunes.

I stick to fl, and audacity, though I'm mildly aware of how to use trackers.
