That's pretty slick looking. I could see that doing wonders with Ableton. I've been using my JP-8080 as a midi controller with Ableton but it has its down sides.

Oh yeah, with all the knobs and stuff you could really do some amazing things live! Oh whats the downsides?

The down sides of using the JP-8080 as a midi controller is that not all the knobs and sliders transmit midi data. It has a nice row of sliders but I can't just go down the line and assign each on to a channel in Ableton. It's more like 1, 2, 3, skip one, 5, skip one, 7, 8.

The down sides of the Bitstream 3X.... none that I know of yet.
