hell, I'll join your militia. I only support barack in terms of what he means for America's international reputation and social policies. in terms of what he means for the economic situation, im scared. the government is wayy to big and powerful. even though barack is a "progressive" candidate, the only reason he got into office is because of the powerful rich old white guys that are behind him for some reason.

the reason the second amendment exists is a check from the people on the government. if i have to take up arms someday because the government is fucking up, i will be more than willing to do so.

Well, I'm pretty excited about being proud of america agaiN!!!!! Not dem/rep matters, just that bush has brought us down quite a bit and I think Obama will do a great job.

i think that what you non-americans don't understand is that the president really cant take a weak stance when it comes to the american military. Obama is a great diplomat and a peacemaker, but the office he is running for is the "Commander in Chief" which means that he has to protect the US from whatever bad guys lurk out there in the dark. I'm sure Obama wants to be a much less aggressive leader, but the office he is running for demands for him to be america's superhero.

i go to a school with a lot of europeans, and i always think its funny when they rip on america about all of the military occupations. the only reason that america has such a strong military is because since WWII, europe has pretty much relied on america to take care of things when diplomacy doesn't work. the UN works for many things, but if some crazy dictator somewhere starts massacring people, the UN really can't do shit.

my only problem with america's military is when we don't do enough. like we let genocide happen because we have no economic interest in the region. stuff like the genocide in Rwanda and in Darfur hopefully won't happen because Obama got elected because we will finally have a humanitarian in the oval office.

you europeans can bitch and moan about the US, but the only reason we make mistakes is because we are the only country that does things when diplomacy doesnt work. every european knows deep down if the US didnt exist, the world would be a much more dangerous place.

Did jou consider that, the world is a dangerous place becouse of jour Amarican banking sistem thats spreading poverty among the poor countries in the world. And what enemys does the Amaricans have? What if ther are no enemys and what if evrything jou see on TV and the Media and jour school abouth the taliban, Irak, Comunists, Vietnam etcetra etcetra....is a ly.
Exept for Kenedy al jour presedents ar obying the monyterysistem. Presidants dont rule mony, mony rules presidants.

but i dunno if america is the baddy i'm from europe (belgium)
and i must say
there are some maaaaajooooor holes in our system and well ok our medical and mental support is great but...
we are not better then america^^
every system has it's flaws and every system is build with cash
