Get a good deep long kick sound. An 808 with a ling release is perfect. Then play with distortion and eq till it sounds suitably nasty. Try different orders of effects. Machine made a very good point about layering. I also stick a sub underneath too some times for extra fatness. If you can use sidchain compression this is a good way of balancing sounds against each other.

one solution is to mix 909-typ kick with good distortion together with a bassline on the offbeat. or you can reverse a kickdrum and fx/eq the shit out the sample until you get a descent bassline.
load the kick on hit one and the bassline on the offbeat into your daw host, on two different audio tracks. loop 1 bar and adjust the offbeat bassline till you get the sound you want. ---> bounce it and there you have your frenchcore-kick sample

Try using 2 909 kicks, filter one for the lows only, from 0 t 150 hz.
Compress the shit out if it.
Use the second 909 kick with a filter from 150 - 22000 hz.
Put some nasty distortion on this one.
this is the standard kick, layer these two.
Now get yourself an 808 kick with a long bass tail, filter this one from 100 hz to 22.000 hz,
also get the identical 808 kick filter it down so that the 60/80 hz layer these 2 kicks directly under the 909 kick, sidechain the volume so that when the 909 pops in the 808 gets pushed away, so that your 808 gives that buzzing sound after your 909 kick, you could also experiment with reversing the 808 kick, or creating a sublike sound with synthesis yourelf, that also goes for the 909 kick. 909 kicks en 808 kicks are the most common and also easy way to achieve this sound in my experience.
Good luck!

Re: distorted frenchcore kick
I use a 909 kick cause its shorter and ads more 'punch' than a 808 kick.
It comes from a novation d station into a mixer channel. This mixer has auxilary s wich can sent this input to an individual output. I use 2 of these auxilary s on my kick channel: 1 goes to a vermona filter lancet, the other to an electro harmonix big muff distortion pedal. The output of these distorted/filtered 909 kick sounds are coming back in two other mixer channels.
These each seperate already sound great on their own. But it doesn't stop here. As they have both their own mixing channel, i'm able to sent them with help of the auxilary s to eachother. Feeding a distorted kick trough anouther distortion.

Re: distorted frenchcore kick
there is two distinct part
one 909 Beat compressed and distorted slightly and a square off bass
sidechain the off beat bass to the 909 to make everything pumping
KIck X---X---X---X---
offbass--X---X---X---X-

Re: distorted frenchcore kick
I am sure everybody is also familiar with the easy dblue glitch trick to turn almost any kick in a frenchcore kick. If not, i was bored so made 2 videos about it how you can easily see it working.
Mind it, i did not do extra eqing or adjustments of the kicks, you obviously have to do that after you do the dblue stuff. Then after you made a nice kick, you save it as a new sample and boom, you have a nice new frenchcore kick. Fuck around with the retrigger speed, eq and resample the kick and you can make a whole pack of cool frenchcore kicks. You can also fuck about a little bit with the pitch on the retrigger to create other nice effects on the kick.
These videos were just made fast in existing projects so you obviously have to configure the kick an re equalize it and everything, then just save it as a new kick.
The videos are super hd lol, so turn up the quality of the videos!! Otherwise the sound and image is gonna suck even more than it is now.
I think i learned about it first a lot of of years back on this forum. Its a nice trick and you can easily make totally new kicks with layering, eqing properly and such.

You don't even need the Dblue for that, just make a "snare rush" out of the last half 8th of your favourite gabber kick
