I agree, the old way was much nicer, but the new knob twiddling bit gives you more control over how you want the break stretched.

Could stretch it for 64 bars if you wanted, though your pc might take a shit on you.


sure, but breaks is only one issue there. i may have a file i want to have stretched to exactly 247 beats, and often enough that's the case.

well, I'm fairly new to fl and i wonder if you can select like a kick, some snares and hihats randomely from a pack and put them all together in piano roll, or do you always have to use slicex to cut up a loop?

umm may seem like a stupid question but im trying to start producing some breakcoreish type stuff and all the tracks ive done so far have been in piano role only...in fact to be honest i dont understand how the looping functions work
i know it makes some functions more difficult but i do fades and stuff on separate programs...is this basically an alright way to write stuff or will it really limit what i can do?
