Layering Breaks
Hi,
Say I have 2 breakbeats, for argument's sake, the tighten up and the amen, and I want to layer them. How would I go about ensuring they are of the same tempo, and get it to layer well, without the finished product sounding like some sort of over-syncopated in-time off-time piece of shite?
Help would be appreciated enormously.
Regards,

this is a massive, and pretty general question.
so here's a general answer:
quantize them both. then make them the same tempo using whichever method you prefer, then mix them using whatever software/sequencer you use.
