Postby epileptic_moyil » Wed Jun 24, 2009 3:37 pm

not the KRS-One bit, i know about that...

i'm talking about

"Gentlemen, I'm here 'cause I fucked...Somebody jump in my computer server and take the information out."

It's from Hey Arnold, Arnold's neighbour says it when he realises he's lost the information which will stop greedy contractors from tearing down the neighbourhood, but don't worry, it all works out in the end

hope this helps

Actually it's me,

This one time, when we hooked up, and my windows pc didn't work, I like, talked in a russian voice, and like, sead that. It was awesome.

No just kidding, I'm on a mac, I'm the cool guy, nobody takes my information out. NOBODY, or my daughter.

Good luck with that, I have no idea.

I never did really love that sample, I felt like it didn't really go anywhere. I mean why do we care that someone took information out of a computer?

The whole song is about how loads of breakcore producers have been ripping off his sound.

"Wasn't you the type to mimic what you heard on CD?
You never wanted to work you wanted everything easy
You heard Venetian Snares and you said, That's me, easy!"

So the whole taking information out of the server sample is a joke about how some people seem to actually be stealing the stuff straight from his computer.

It even said in the press release for the album "Venetian Snares has made a better Venetian Snares album than you ever could." or something...

Ah cheers mate, definitely some "Huge Chrome..." ripping off going on there I admit. I got the choirs from this CD and some other russian choral music off soulseek - probably could have squeezed a few more tracks out of that stuff it was lush:
