Anyone want to buy a FAST laptop??? * mint condition *
I just bought this HP Pavilion dv9000t laptop less than 3 months ago. It has brutally good specs and has a lot of potential.
This laptop is in brand new, mint condition. Not one scratch on it. It has never been travelled with, and it has ONLY been on my desk since I bought it.
For several reasons, including my professional work, I need to sell it ASAP to buy a MacBook Pro. I should have bought one instead of this but at the time I really did not want/need to switch to an Apple computer.
It comes with Windows Vista Ultimate (64-bit) installed, BUT... I am including a new, unused copy of Windows XP (64-bit) in case you want to downgrade.
I've also upgraded the RAM to 4GB, but I'm including the original 2GB sticks with it for you to keep or sell.
TWO fast as hell hard drives are installed for a total of 240GB of space.
512MB of Video Ram + a 17" high-def bright display...
It just goes on and on. Here are all the specs:
- HP Pavilion dv9700t Entertainment CTO NB
- Windows Vista Ultimate (64-bit)
- Windows XP (64-bit) Install CD included
- Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo Processor T9300 (2.50 GHz, 6 MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB)
- 240GB 7200RPM SATA Dual Hard Drive (120GB x 2) - TWO HARD DRIVES INSTALLED!
- Upgrade to 4GB of RAM - (x2) Patriot 2GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) ... Original 2GB (2x1GB sticks) included!
- 17.0" WXGA+ High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1440 x 900)
- 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS Video Card
- Upgrade to HP Imprint Finish (Radiance) + Fingerprint Reader + Webcam + Microphone
- Upgrade to Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 4965AGN Network Connection and BluetoothTM
- Upgrade to LightScribe SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-RW with Double Layer Support
- Remote Control
- 8 Cell Lithium Ion Battery
- System Recovery DVD with Genuine Windows Vista Ultimate (64-bit)
- Microsoft(R) Works 9.0
- External USB 2.0/Firewire Hard Drive Case Included! (not pictured)
- 3 USB 2.0 ports, 1 Firewire 400 port, 1 HDMI pot, SD-MS/Pro-MMC-XD card reader, S-video Output, External Monitor Output, Expansion Port 3, and more...
- Original box, documents, and power supply included
- 9 months of warranty remaining
Message me to make an offer. I can even give you my phone number if you want to talk out a deal.
I'm asking $1625 (shipped in the US). I need to sell this ASAP.
If you were going to buy a new laptop, buy this one.
Thanks.

Damn bro, mad specs on that peice of hardware... too bad it is waaaay out of my price range.

Wow this is a hell of a computer..
why don't you install mac OS X on it..
that way you have a kick ass laptop with both windows and mac os x
it will cost you less and that laptop is much better than any apple computer you will ever buy (well.. maybe not compared to one you could buy in like 4-5 years.. but you understood me..)

^Last time I tried installing OSx86, it was extremely buggy and nowhere near as easy as running OS X on Mac hardware.
I would easily pay the extra price for a Mac system just because I know for a fact it will work.
And it's tempting, but I don't really have the money to take the offer up.

I did consider installing Mac OSX on this HP laptop, but I have heard too many discouraging stories to do it.
I just want to sell it ASAP and get Mac like I should have done in the first place.
I know this is a lot of money to spend on a laptop, but trust me, it is a POWERHOUSE.
This will easily replace a desktop computer. Mobile studio, live rig, whatever. This is great hardware.

No it won't. I'm very aware of the social bullshit associated with Mac. I just want a reliable fucking computer.
