no vids i know of but when i want that sound i find a drum sample or make a drum sample which sounds kind of death metalish then arrange one sample after the other and vary the volume of each of the drum kicks

if the sound is off by any amount, layer your kicks and eq each layer so that your frequencies dont overlap too much, for example, if you want the high frequency sounds of one kick and the low thump of another put them each in their own channel and throw an eq on each, stripping the hf kick of the lows and stripping the lf kick of its high frequencies

this can be done better using the drum rack but im no expert with the drum rack, i do however know it has low and high pass filters that can be used for this such task

if you need samples, theres a splatterkore sample pack goin around somewhere out there that has some pretty worthy kicks that could be used in this way

good luck!

i think the best way, is to ask someone to record something for you...

because its very hard to program good cymbals ;[

especially hihats
