Sooooooooong structuuuuuuuuure
is a variable thing
as long as it sounds good
it'll probably swing.

Random...
I find set structures more in DnB hardstep techstep...
In breakcore its always more twisted, eventhough sometimes the listeners loose track of the song. Here comes the artists wonders lol

I recently got into the habbit of making a few blocks each with different patterns but keeping it basic..

then revisiting those bare bones structures and a making tweaks:

retriggers, pitch changes, velocities, muting between triggers, time streches..

different people work in different ways..

Well... I always put up a rather standard structure first and then I edit it to make it sound more fucked up.

K = Kick
S = Snare
H = Hi-hat
G = Ghost snare
X = Kick + Snare

Classic amen

K---H---S---H-G-H-G-K---S---H---

Or my favorite darkstep kinda pattern

K-------X-----K-----X---K------- (and place the highhats as you like, my jolly good friend!)
