it happens about 2.54 or 6.43 in to the tune http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7d-eWDyP5M

you take a bit of the snare's tail and repeat it as desired... also maybe fade it out as it rolls., as desired.,,,,,, i desire some fuckin waffles right now 8) 8) 8)

hi,

from what i hear i'd say:
it's a snare 'drill', there are several ways to do, here's one :
- play a snare sequence, then roll it (roll function type 3 on korg esx, or beat shuffle function with fruty loops then edit, or ableton effects too..) add some delay / reverb + fade out ... you can resample it and repeat the delay ... here's a drill!
i know some mix table can 'drill' any loop just using delay effect..

what you have just after is a vinyl playing backward i guess

nice track to listen to by the way!

yeah its just a time stretch a good way to find out how to do things like this is check out other forums like idmforums.com etc or the FLipsideforums.com for flstudio users or propelerhead site for reason users the people who make your DAW's are normally more than happy to explain how to do these things if you just ask them
