I've had some requests for this and found it pretty neat and useful so enjoy. This video has 4 different short uses for white noise so check em out and maybe you'll find a use for em in your music. My favorite is the last part of the tutorial.

Also of note these tutorials are for ableton, but if you're crafty enough you could probably work these around in your other programs.
