All this hardware/software talk is bollocks to be honest.
It's not what you've got, it's how you use it.
I mean look at Kev Willow; the only thing he uses is Fruity Loops and yet he's already had a track he remixed put on a released CD.

im gonna get a cheap ass alesis sr 16, circuit bend it for noisy goodness and a midi controller to trigger the samples. and maybe a cheap mixing desk although i can plug it into the back of my dj mixer i might want to get more hardware. And i got an ad from Lidl and theyre selling a mixing desk for 80 quid lol
