novation or akai?

Postby lobotomic » Mon Aug 29, 2011 12:19 pm

i know that is a difficult question because the products are so different, but an example:
do you prefer remote sl 49 or mpk 49?
i think that novation has more products and is more innovator, but akai has got some interesting hardware

i have a remote sl too,but i have the 61key mk1 version.the mk2 is better i think,because buttons have leds and the knobs too,but the mk1 has two screens.
but i think that mpk is more comfortabe.the knobs in remote sl are too close

I have the remote sl 25 compact, wonderful thing. I'm too stupid to utilize it to the fullest though. I should have bought a nanokey or something. :)

iv got the same thing -the lights, older version

i dont even utilize most of the keys though

i bought it used really cheap maybe a year or so ago, so far one of the sliders has gone haywire and is messing with my ability to map midi, otherwise it works well and has been a fair investment
