diy for external midi tap?

Does anyone know a good DIY for making your own midi decives that functions as the synchronisation master with a tap button on it? Please no foot pedal DIY's I like doing things with my hands k <3

Have you tried doepfer? It's a modular synth compay, but they sell midi PCB DIY kits. A great example is the Midigun
