Starting of a project.
I'm looking for some info.
I'm planning to start my own project.
I'm an absolute beginner and I'm looking for some information about hardware and software.
It's gonna be realy hard breakcore shit with some ragga and hardcore.
I like to record some of my own samples with my guitar and a mini-synthesizer.
I've got Ableton Live 7 software.
grtz

what exactly did you want to know?
Ableton live is very good for making breakcore. You can get by without using any hardware at all (cept maybe a midi controller). Although if you want really meaty synths, software doesnt really cut the mustard. But meaty synths arent compulsory in breakcore, many big name producers use software synths. You can hear it in the music, but if the beats are good enough it doesnt matter (eg venetian snares apparently mostly uses software synths now)
Although if you've got £1200 to spare get a virus TI desktop synthesizer.. best bit of kit I ever used. It sounds amazing and has a software front end so it's much easier to control than your average hardware synth.
Just remember some blood, sweat, and tears will have more impact on your music than shelling out for hardware.

I don't have that kind of money hehehe.
What I want to know.
Well if I make some good tunes and I start playing live one day what kind of gear would I need.
Can I only use my laptop or will I need some extra hardware.
Or is there some easy to use software for live performances beside Ableton.
I'm pretty much a noob at this point.
I'm now experimenting with Ableton.

Well you dont really need any hardware to make tunes or play live, it can all be done on software. Ableton live is the best software for this in my opinion. Although you'll probably want a good midi controller with faders, knobs, and pads if you really want to be changing soudns and triggering effects live.
There are a few plugins good for doing live effects.
Try Glitch VST, and Lucifer VST.
You can trigger and modify these plugins using your midi controller.

Hi ||Seba||,
First give the proper answer, on what basis you have to start your project. Its a hardware or software related project work. By seeing your post , it seems you have to work on guitar and mini synthesizer. Ableton live is very good for making break core. You can get by without using any hardware at all but there is requirement of mini controller. It sounds amazing and has a software front end so it's much easier to control your systems. Try to get some extra knowledge before starting it , search from good search engine.
Thanks
