triggering samples with trigger finger

anyone here use trigger finger with renoise, i just got mine to day and was wondering how i trigger a sample with the pads.

Under Edit>Preferences>MIDI set an In Device to your TF
you can then play the selected instrument with the pads... if you're looking to play it like a drum machine, you'll prolly have to load all your samples into a single instrument and then in the Instrument Editor view, click "Generate Drum Kit"

You can use M-Audio's Enigma app to make sure your TF's pads are set to the transmit the appropriate MIDI note values, matching up with the notes each sample is bound to in Renoise...

I don't use Renoise much so there might be a better way to do what you're going for, but I thought I'd offer my 2 cents.
