Help - My laptop is dying!

Postby cornishacid » Mon Oct 20, 2008 2:51 pm

I keep getting the blue screen of death. I asked about this before but cant find the original post.

Basically if my laptop is on and i pick it up by the back right corner or anything hits it there then it BSOD's me and restarts.

Someone gave me a copy of Spinrite and said it might help.

Any other ideas on what this might be about?

Dude, sounds like your processor is either overheating hence the blue screen or (and) its just fried. I have a shitty acer and you could fry an egg on the underside it gets so hot.
you could try keeping the cpmputer cooler with a usb tray fan but if it keeps doing it its probalby new computer time

always back up your files. Thats odd about it BSOD'ing when you bump it though.
