i looked for a thread which would be suitable to this question but this seemed
best, i've just got my kp3 today and im goin through the manual learning as much as possible, its just one part which doesnt seem to work for me.

"When you are ready to record, press one of the SAMPLE BANK buttons. The recording starts as soon as you
press the SAMPLE BANK button. The PROGRAM MEMORY buttons will consecutively blink to indicate the
beat you’re recording. The sample will automatically loop when the recording is finished. The SAMPLE BANK
button will be lit ORANGE and the loop will automatically play and loop."

i do as stated and for some reason mine doesnt loop afterwards, its orange but theres nothing happening.

forgive me if its something really simple, i'm completely new to this....

yeh it says rEc on the L.E.D and the numbers are flashing
once its finished the button goes orange, according to the manual it should loop but it doesnt for me :S
do i need an SD card?

You need an SD card or have it hooked to the computer via the USB cord. Also make sure its updated its up to verison 2.0 at the moment.
