its fun to play linked x-y controller with gamepad :)

Man, that sounds nice. How ghetto is that: running crappy gameboy trackers on a GBA emulator. :D USB Gamepad is also nice and regarding that, isn't there a program which knows how to turn certain signals in the USB to MIDI? I mean I don't think you can just plug in any USB hardware and it just automatically turns to MIDI, or can you?

umm...actually its not a tracker, its a sequencer, teehee...
and there is more GBA emulator, Electric Drum, its a 8bit drum banks, you control them with your USB gamepad, and the fun thing, you can FLAM it! :D

yup, i used some of freeware like rejoice & PPjoy to turn the signal into controller-wanna-be...

Can you use an xbox gamepad as a controller in FL8?

Can you use either joysticks to control x y controls, if so, how?

I use a Laptop with my Korg Nano controllers. Basically just my NanoPAD and NanoKONTROL. I am looking into getting a nice mixer for analog I/O, apposed to the 1/8th inch hardwar out.

I ran Ableton for a while, now I'm going to rock Milkytracker, or something I can mashup my songs with.

As of now I'm just running my laptop, ableton 8 and my APC 40. I have lots of things key mapped on the laptop, then the APC 40 allows me to zip around in ableton and to all my made effects.

I might look into max for live....cause I'm interested in learning to make some stuff/effects for it and being able to make patches for the APC 40. I think that would step up my live game even more.

we have reduced our live set up alot since we got a laptop, which has been our best investment ever!. any ways we run a korg er & ea1 and an esx all slaved too the laptop running acid. our live sets are always planned out and practiced over and over and over. one of us runs synths and effects while the other does drums and works the mic!
