Thinking of (maybe) starting a rack...

...But I have absolutely NO idea where to start, what I need, or how much money it would all be. It would probably be like me buying a piece of equipment every several months, just building it up.

But like I said, NO IDEA on what actually goes into setting up a rack.


If you've got one, could you kind of give me an idea of the stuff I would need? Amplifiers, pre-amps, mixers, compressors, sonic maximizers, etc... what stuff would actually apply to a solo computer musician?
