How do I create something like this? (High pitched samples)

Postby Love Through Cannibalism » Sat May 08, 2010 5:03 pm

Hello, i'm asking for help.

I would like to create short high-pitched voice samples to mix with drums.

I uploaded an example video about what i'm exactly aiming for:

How do I create something like this from a regular voice record? I mean, how do I high-pitch it properly to sound like this?

Thanks, and sorry for my bad english.

that actual vocal sample came from a very popular break, (sped up of course) it can be heard here (the second one)

if your trying to do it with other vocals it depends on the program youre using, i know for ableton you can just transpose and speed up or double time whatever sample you use, i also know there are pitch-up vsts which can be used fairly universally

Thanks, pitch-up vsts sounds interesting since everytime I pitch-up some vocals with my crappy audio editor it ends sounding like creepy smurfs

Thank you again for the link :D
