Oldskool synths

Postby crap_0nline » Mon Aug 27, 2007 1:38 pm

Anyone know where I can get a tidy oldskool rave synth pack instead of cutting synth stabs from released choons (because that's just naughty!)

Would be appreciated if anyone could let me know! :)

You'd probably be better off just using some software or a vst to emulate the old school rave sounds, than using pre-recorded sounds. Then it'd be a lot easier to tailor the sounds around your track instead spending loads more time editing em to your liking.

yeah, probably. I've got tons of vst's anyway and a dodgy pitch bend and modulator on my keyboard that doesn't work lol

Roland alfa juno/mks50. I got my mks50 for under £100. Proper rave machine. If you can get one with the original presets then look for a sound called 'what the..'. Its the hoover from dominator/pretty much every dutch hardcore tune ever.

I actually got some freebie old school rave samples awhile back. I've not listened to em yet, but I shall upload them once I get some time.
