Just so you guys know, possibly the greatest resource for free samples on the internet is located at http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/ ... this is a creative commons project that allows users to upload their homemade samples and download other creative commons (read: FREE) samples for use in their works. Derivative works (ie: your resulting songs) do not necessarily need to be licensed as Creative Commons, but if you decide to do so, feel free to reciprocate, and upload loops from your song, or even, upload your song to CCMixter so that other people can remix it!
