I recently found the beauty of XY pads with cutoff.

I have trouble with wobble too, though. I rely entirely on cutoff knobs and it just doesn't sound right. Maybe on a piece of analogue equipment, but not digitally.

Cheap ass 8bit plugins with automated detunes and external cutoff filters on top of it linked to an LFO device.

You just set a ratio which dictates the filter envelope. Tempo-synced. Very easy.

yeah its all about NI Massive. go on dubstepforum's production bible (google it) and they got pretty much everything you need there to make homogenized dubstep.

... once you learn how to make that generic shit, then start innovating and advancing dubstep. there are still plenty of things that havent been done yet.
