cutting program?

Postby Higgins » Tue Dec 11, 2007 9:52 pm

Hello! not much of a software guy...I really just know my way around the very basics of cubase LE...I'm looking for a program to cut up and distort breaks and beats into something else. Just for the record it has to be Mac compatable and cheap and or free is nice ;) thanks a ton

I don't know of any programs that slice more quickly and easily than ReCycle, it is designed as a Reason application but i think the files it makes can also be opened in Cubase. Even if you're not using it with Cubase it's a simple matter to export every slice in your loop all at once. It's not cheap considering how simple the program seems, but I think it's really easy to acquire.

you might try zero-x beatslicer and beat quantizer. both are very cool.
