Using the slice option to beat match pellas maybe the harder way around it.

youd be better off using edison to load the pella then tap tempo it and enter its tempo into the wav

then load it as audio clip , resample as tonal and just stretch to fit aligning peaks on beats etc

check youtube for warbeats tutorials on this they are good

There's enough bastards using FL studio in every genre, both the silliest amateurs to the most professional professionals. No need to bash it around cause that gets really old, really fast, and really old. Fast.

I use FL studio to simply that it accustoms, than Renoize though and in it there are pluses much easier.

I started mucking about with FL, I have to trudge through tutorials though. I had fun messy with it and making ridiculus noises. Can I play songs and record live over it, and then edit what I recorded?

FL studio isn't too bad... once i got the hang of it, Sytrus turned into a pretty usable synth

Although I used trackers in th '90s, I started experimenting with a free copy of Cakewalk I got with my AWE64 back in '99.

From this experimentation with CW, it was simpler for me to learn FL Studio. I can do practically anything with it. All it took me was a little practice.

It also has Slicex which I think is awesome. I like the Harmless synth plugin that Image Line sells (I got it for $9). It's a great synth and absurdly easy to use.

I can imagine people say they don't like to use fl, just because it looks fancy. Can get into that idea but it doesn't change the fact that it's super userfriendly and you can create everything you like with it. I heard even Tiësto is into fruityloops...
