My sub-bass is destroying my boxes!
I have problems in my new track.
The bass is fuckin amazing, but it`s to hard for my soundsystem and I can imagine that probably 89% of the music-listening population will have the same problems with this bass.
It`s deep and massive. You can hardly hear it on headphones. But I want the track to be listenable,know what I mean? =/
Any ideas how to make the bass less destroying and still banging?
using ableton,btw.

i'll usually duplicate (or triplicate) - then you can have a channel for just the sub and shopuld be able to make it sit well in the mix and you'll also have the luxury of just putting distortion on your mids etc.
