HID to MIDI Software???

im currently attempting to turn my old DDR pad into a midicontroller but im in need of some software so turn the signal from it into midi

MIDI is the Multiple Instruction Digital Instrument.MIDI is the new version of the music type.
It is more fictionalized then HID....

you may be able to with max/msp or reaktor... haven't done it myself though.

so i have found a way to do this in xp but i recently downgraded to vista after my desktop died


does anyone know how to do this in vista, or does anyone have any success stories with and video game controller to midi in vista?
