Nitrotrackers easy to set up, just put all your samples in one file and put the rom for nitrotracker in another, boot up nitrotracker, go to the sample menu, find sample folder, et voila.

Nitrotracker and the DS10 are about the only 2 I use with any frequency...everything else seems pretty gimmicky. Since my city sucks shit and is overcrowded Nitrotracker definitely keeps me from freaking the fuck out when having to wait for things. It just needs effects and then I can do away with my old win 98 machine I use for Impulse Tracker :P

Only thing that sucks about nitrotracker is the limited amount of ram on the ds :( but that also allows me to finish songs quicker :)

You can get a ram extension card to use, I think the DS net browser came with one, probably find them on dealextreme.com

Nitrotracker is brilliant.

Sweet...I will have to look into that maybe. However I do kind of like the limitation...less chance of the tune going nowhere from endless fucking about.

Yah that kids tunes are pretty decent...especially the first one.

Nanoloop?

I have not used it personally, but I've heard it's pretty cool. similar to LSDj from my understanding.

There's a compilation album called Nanoloop 2.0 that consists of nothing but tracks created using the nanoloop cartridge (audio examples). You might find one on amazon.

Korg DS10 is pretty sick too, and easier to obtain.
