InstaJungle recording on renoise helpz

i have a problem recording on renoise, using instajungle on the amen track. i use a gamepad as midi controller, and when its not on record mode it works fine.

then, when i switch record on, the automation envelopes of instajungle mess up with the on and offs of each button and this causes a bad shit to happen...

any ideas?

have you tried sending the automation to the pattern commands rather than the automation curves -or vice versa if you are already doing that (there is a button on the top left of the pattern editor that controls this)?

you can ask on the renoise forums for better advice but you'll most likely get a load of abuse for not using the pattern effect commands to retrigger the break.

ahm now i figured what is the prob but i cant solve it, so,
when i trigger on and the pattern moves to the next one before i trigger off, fucks up the stuff.
i think sumthin like an automation envelope that keeps going as one for the whole song could be it but i dunno if its possible.
