If you maaaaaaaaaybe have read the manual, help file or did the tutorial, you would have this up and running in a snap.

But I shall break it down for you, cause i'm pimp like that.

This is for running ableton as the "master" and Renoise as the "slave" (happiness in slavery?)

1. Boot up Ableton
2. Boot up Renoise
3. Then on a midi track select "renoise" as the audio output.
from here in the output channel chooser, you can choose what instrument/module in renoise you want to use.
4. Then on a midi track select "renoise" as the audio input.
Then from the input channel chooser you can select the channel you want to control by midi.
5. Set the audio track monitor button to "in"
6. Set "all ins" from the midi track input type chooser
7. Arm the midi track

then go at it.
