Do i need to resample something if i want to just reverse one bass drum in a break??? im using ableton sampler... i think you can reverse single chops in kontakt... is this true??? is kontakt worth getting over using sampler???

in arrangement view you can draw an envelope to turn sampler's "reverse" button on/off

or yeah, you can resample

Also if you just have the bassline saved as a .wav. mp3 or whatever and drop it into a audio track in session view there should be the option to reverse it in the various options for warping clips. Should be the same in arrangement view also.
